Ok my posts are probably going to be shorter now. Today I decided that I wish I could work on the blog during school. There is a lot of stuff that happens that I forget to include, but some things wouldn't really be as funny for someone to read about.
Study
Today I actually did work here! Yay! Are you all proud of me?
I had to finish the conclusion of a lab for science that was due today and I did the french homework that is due tomorrow. Also, I tried to help Chris with some problems in geometry, but I couldn't help much. And some of it was stuff I learned last year.
Science
A lot of fun as usual. At the beginning of class Mr. M asked if anyone could spell his name (which finally someone could except for the 'i' at the end of his name which is left off of the schedule) and we learned how to spell the other name he goes by 'm-dawg' or 'm-dogg', but not 'm-dog'!
We learned we might get to blow up the classroom when we have our first full lab with chemicals.
Algebra
Why does the geometry teacher always come into our class randomly?!?!?!
Today Mr. Skigen was passing back our summer packets when Ms. Levinsky walks into the room and says 'Hi, Mr. Skigen. What are you doing?' and he says 'Passing back the summer packets. What are you doing?' to which she responds 'I'm teaching them how to correctly do homework' then she leaves.
Um.... Was there really a need for that?
Anyway, this class also tests my hearing since it is hard to hear Mr. Skigen most of the time, especially when people are going to their lockers right outside of the room.
Oh, and in this class I love how Mr. Skigen will ask someone if they have a question and if they don't he'll tell them to ask him one. And today he compared himself to a teacher you become afraid of and are afraid they'll hit you if you make them mad and told us not to make him mad.
Advisory
Today we watched Obama give his speech on the computer (hooked up to a smart board).
Oh and guess what? I finally met Chef! Wrong day and wrong class, but I met her. I have a feeling she won't be here tomorrow, since you would assume she would be.
Also, I met Mrs. Metzler (our counselor) and was told that we will have to see her randomly throughout the month. Maybe I should start trying to find her office so I don't get lost on the way there.
History
It is so hard to hear Mr. Tomlin. When he reads stuff I don't even realize he's talking sometimes until he's almost finished.
We had to do a persuasive writing essay and we heard Mr. Tomlin's routine for passing out tests/quizzes and letting us begin. (I'll let you know when i can memorize it what he says.)
Also, we reviewed MLA format and Mr. Amato came in to see how well we learned. Most people who tried didn't do well, but eventually we got it all figured out.
Then we got into groups (randomly by numbers- I got 1, the no longer lonely number) and got our new BFF's for this class.
I think that's about all that happened today.. At least all that I remember that I would've included.
Today is awesome because I finished some homework for tonight during study.
You See's the teachers? Nice. Almost as nice as Thank's.
ReplyDeleteMs. Metzler's office is in the guidance office. It's my advisory. Its the first room in our locker hallway.
And I really don't know what he says when he passes things out. It's something along the lines of
"Good luck dsuiofsdbjfsdacaionskdlf;sakl no talking." It calms me at first and then I get nauseous.
lol srry i did the title last and i jsut kinda wanted to finish the post..
ReplyDeleteok ty Eric
lol me too.. i think it's "good luck, dont turn over, no talking" or something..
