HAPPY NEW YEARRR!!!

Happy New Year from everyone at 10 Months of Work! Its finally 2010! Yet the school year isn't over. Not even close..we still got a long way to go in this school year and we hope that you are all there with us every step of the way!

Hopefully Gomezzio will continue with the Christmas Nondenominational Holiday Break whatever thing video update whatevers....cuz he still hasn't put my video up! I think he has had a little trouble with the audio or something....

So my vacation has been good so far, i got some awesome gifts for Christmas, like Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks, a Beatles shirt, and a new phone just to name a few! My cousin came over for a few days were we just gamed constantly. Josh, his family, and I went to see Avatar in theaters, and it was a pretty awesome movie if i do say so myself. I am currently at Thespeedgamers New Years stream! and...thats about it i guess! Hopefully this post keeps u guys busy while Gomezzio fixes whatever he needs to fix!

To everyone's surprise, yes, I'm still here. No, I'm not dead.

Sorry that I haven't been posting, I would have, but I haven't been in school. I've been sick. I didn't want to bore you with all the farmville-ing I have been doing in my spare time. Because believe me, it would all be about farmville.

Maybe I'll make a random post or two, and I hope I'll be back in school again soon, so that I can have interesting things to write about.

12 Days of Christmas Break

Winter break starts today! Good news and bad news. Good news- No school for about 2 weeks! Bad news- No posts for about 2 weeks! We're essentially taking a haitus until we return to school.

We decided that we (the worker and Angela) will entertain you as we are away. But how? We'll be updating each day we're away. But we won't have school! So? Who says we need school to be entertaining? Each day we will post something, most likely a video each day. But I don't want to watch cute cats or videos of Wicked! You guys are way better! Yea, we know. The videos will be by us, of us, for you.

We will start that the first day of break, Christmas Eve.

It's been a while since I've done an E day post...

Morning- Got a ride from Lindsey's brother...? As I walked into the school, I tripped and fell, in front of people, and they laughed. I tried to get up, and slipped again. :/

French- Corrected homework, then started watching a movie with French subtitles that nobody will read. :$

English- Debating with the people in my row who will go in front of the class and read their Elevated Story. Mary went for us. She's in a different row. Mr. Amato told Mr. Tomlin that he is the Lord.

Lunch- New water number- 24 I believe? Gave Nick some homemade chocolate covered pretzels.

Science- Jeopardy game! We won by 200! Wooo!

Advisory- Tried to clean off the windows because of the fake snow, then worked on my collage. I added a cat's head. Next class I'll glue a duck's head to the cat's body. Kate thinks it's a good idea.

Study- Played with a Dreidle and talked to Patrick and Josh the entire time because we all had no homework.

Today is awesome because I'm a law breaker xD It's not as fun as you think.

Break Day 1- Christmas Eve!

12 Days of Winter Break

They aren't keeping any of the money, and it is totally legitimate! Join us there for a great time for a great cause! hopefully they put up the chat tonight so i have something exciting to do!

Today is awesome because off the Band Concert, and if you didn't know already, Jazz Improvisation, Concert Band, and Jazz Ensemble performed at it, all of which i play the piano in.

Notes on yesterday: did math in science, start physics stuff, so far my class is better at this then chemistry. quiz in algebra. Eric and Angela almost switched places in lunch. Mr. Cooper got our report card updates and was surprised cause i got 102 in science which is supposed to be impossible. In history we had to march in lines as if we were fighting in a war in ancient Greece, we kinda failed.

Got there early, watched Chris and Josh play with a few dradles that Josh brought in. I convinced him to give me one for a Hanukkah present and I got an orange one! Took a quiz. Reviewed stuff.

Worksheet while Amato checked notes. We were missing a desk in our row again. I am praying that I don't get put in this row again next month. Phone rang a lot, after third time Amato said not to answer it. Talked about elevated style.

Lunch

Gave Kevin my calculator and became a hero of the day. Talked.

Bake Shop

Made ginger bread men. I had to crack eggs. It wasn't that bad and once i cracked one almost perfectly. Then for the last 3 they turned out awfully.

Advisory

Sub. Nap time at the beginning (before everyone was there) it was quieter that it ever had been in there when I walked in. Then a lot of us kinda separated. Then people played hot and cold and I kinda played with my dradle.

Health

Notes. SHT (study hall time). Quiet. Did french work and a lot of science work. Randomly barely communicated with Chris. Got a new student. YOT (your own time) for the last 10 minutes or so. Got to leave early cause we were good.

Bus Ride

Communicated with Josh on the bus cause his is right next to mine. Learned something in spanish but I can't spell it so I won't share it.

That's about it.

Today is awesome because it will probably be the best day of health this year.

Put mousse and stuff on cup cakes that were dry cause they were supposed to be used 2 days ago. There was a big scoop of whipped cream with sprinkles neatly on top for the whole class and somehow nobody stepped in it.

Mr. Cooper forced me, Shea, and James to talk about what we're doing this weekend. He got disappointed in me when I said that I was doing nothing and that I don't usually really do anything. Had canned Rockstar. I like the stuff from the bottles better. (Yes I know it was jsut a different flavor.)

Gym

Last gym class!! Free day. Started just dribbling and being stupid with a basket ball. Then I walked with Cassie and Kayley (not sure how to spell her name). Then we helped set up a badminton net for other people. Sat and watch people and listened to Cassie and Kayley talk. Had to throw random stuff away because the teacher told me to. Then played catch/vollayball practice stuff/kicking a ball back and forth. None of them worked out too well. Then Chris randomly showed up playing tennis after we put the ball away and Cassie joined him while Kayley and I watched.

Bus Ride

Mike was hyper. It was very entertaining.

Snow day yesterday! So we had two A days in a row. Gonna be lazy this post.

Study

1: did work.
2: finished a map. did a 'find the difference' book type thing with Tyler for a while.

Science

1: sub. watched mythbusters. i ended up being the only one on the left side of the room at one point.
2. got our tests back. Mr. M is getting tired of bowing to me. got a 108 cause he scaled the tests again (by 10 points this time). did a lab with nick brown and tim crofoot today.

Lunch

2. we all tried to see if coffee cakes would melt in the sun like ice cream since there was a lot of sun. Angela got a lot of exercise.

1. learned about Skigen's relationship with his wife (that's 2 teachers i know abotu now)
2. got assigned the job of reminding Skigen to check homework. talked to him about our day off. helped olivia with some questions we had to do for classwork.

1. i dont really remember. but justin has been out for a long time and we had someone in our advisory text him and tell him that we all miss him.

Eric is Wild

I'd like to start this post off by saying: Hi Ian!

What can I say about art? Nothing. Boring. Yet somehow I like it. Mrs. Seagren called my painting "Wild." Her and her adjectives...

Health- Didn't take the test. We will do that on our first day of gym. Wtf.

Lunch- I wish I had second lunch just so I could see the fight. Instead, Angela and I watched the fancy water vending machine do it's magic. It's amazing.

Geometry- Ms. Levinsky stole Vigan's phone. Ian and I determined I'm on at least 8 sites. And apparently a prostitution site. Who would've thought?

I don't wanna talk about it.

English- Hey! We have French and English right after one another. How ironic.

Lunch- Danielle was staring longingly at my Chex Mix.

Science- Project. Took too much control.

Advisory- Worked on the door. Kate and I had to go to the photo room to get some X-acto knives and cutting mats. When we were walking in the hallway Kate said in a low, deep voice "Razorblades.." A teacher walked past us and stared at her.

Study- Josh and I argued which vocal range he's in. Yea, I don't know. Oh! And we want to go sledding whenever it snows. Hopefully Nick won't develop any scars this time :P

Didn't know about one of our last homework assignments. I still did ok though on that section and the ones I actually did when everyone kept making me answer questions.

English

Quiz on the intro of Greek stuff. I only read about a paragraph of it and I was a little unsure about some of the answers that I put on the paper cause I thought that the book probably taught us something different than what I already knew. Somehow, though, I got 100. Then we went over conjunctions and interjections and got as far as explaining the first four lines in the Illiad.

Lunch

Eric accused me of staring at the Chex Mix. I was really staring at the Nick's Mix and I finally got it and finished it in the hallway. Chris kept stealing some.

Bake Shop

We attempted to start to make chocolate mousse today. So far ours doesn't look that great. I helped Ms. G set up cupcake tin things. Then watched her put in some badder (which didn't look that great) into the trays. got a 96 (I think) on the pie crust I had to make up Friday morning.

Advisory

We talked about middle school. Mr. Cooper thought that I moved here last year (for those of you who don't know I moved here in 6th grade). Mostly our thoughts revolved around the sticky notes we used to get (long and kinda strange story, anyone else can feel free to explain in the comments).

Gym

Badminton. Sucked today. Second game definitely made me sick of it. took down a net.

sub. it was mr. e who was the french sub's sub one day and is also chef's assistant's fiance. he was falling asleep at one point and someone threw a crumpled up piece of paper at him. did the study guide that took me about two minutes to finish. read a little and finished my chapter. didnt feel like reading anymore so i stared at the wall for about 20 minutes. ate some nick's mix. test got scheduled for friday. i hate this!

Ms. Levinsky made a paper fortune toy for Vigan and made random people do it... She then pretended it was a bird and it started eating him. Then she made it 'drink water.' Craaazy. Just like all the other math teachers in the district.

Advisory- Mrs. Lengyel had a headache so we sat in the dark and 'read.' Yea... Some people tried Irish Chocolate they stole from the guidance office and apparently it was gross. I had issues putting my phone number into Kate's phone.

History- Did practically nothing.

Today and a couple days ago is/were awesome because I found out 2 of my Christmas presents... :]

Nick doesn't want to take a history test..

Geometry...boring..

Jazz..played one of our christmas songs and practiced the songs for the superintendent thing whatever that Mr. St.Georges wanted a few people to play some jazz at..lots of songs to learn in a short amount of time...not hard at all though..

Band..nothing much..found out that the oranges are going to arrive on friday! yay!

Lunch..seating issuesish...Kevin payed some of the tea party people to ask me to join them..how evil..i will not submit! i don't leave a man behind! (Josh)

Advisory..reading day..magazines and such..we started discussing something at the end of it but i completely forget what it was...

History..went over test taking and studying whatnot..me dont wanna take no test..

Today is awesome cuz of Gleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeday!

Eric's a Prodigy. Mrs. Petronis is Ironic.

Morning- Brought in my very fragile, gentile, touch-it-and-you-get-powdery-substance-on-you throne to Mr. Amato's, and was almost late to French.

French- Mrs. Petronis is sick while we learn about sickness. Didn't see that one coming.* Pwned the other team in Concentration.

English- Presented throne. Danielle failed. Mind if I go into detail, Danielle?

Thanks. The base of it was the top of a shoebox decorated in face snow. I put the actual throne inside the shoebox. There was some scrap snow in the bottom of the shoebox. The top was off and the throne was out, and Danielle needed something to lean against. So she put her hand on my desk not knowing the shoebox was there. She ended up flipping it and getting snow on her. -Giggle-

Mr. Amato said he never had a throne that would shed that much. Yay for me.

Lunch- Full of eighth-grade references. Oh, and pudding can explode.

Science- New seats. Now sit one table over with Nick still to the right of me. Got our topics for our group projects. Hydroelectic energy- Woo!... ?

Advisory- Made people run around the school. Chose our people for Secret Santa.

--It just occurred to me that Josh and Chris's advisory are doing it too. But Josh is Jewish...

Study- Learned that Ms. Bloski/Kilcourse got the Glee soundtrack and loves it. Great, another thing we have in common... I've never even met Ms. Bloski/Kilcourse -minus a brief hello during the school tour- and she calls me her "prodigy." According to my sister.

They're doing a kissing scene in acting. Josh is partnered with Jacki, and that'll be hard for him** because he's so tall and she's... so short.

Today is awesome because of Tiger. Yea.

English...presentations..i didnt present yet cuz im stupid..and im also the god of boxes (not really). my throne was just in a box.

Science..new seats..still next to gomezzio..whoopdy doo..talked about project thingy..partners with gomezzio and christop..

Advisory...that stuff will never leave that class..at least not out of my mouth..or fingers..

Spanish..Mrs. Petronis lost her voice..i was having a flashback of when i lost my voice last week, and it was so vivid that when i talked for real, i got really surprised that my voice didnt crack or anything..it was wierd..

Today is awesome because of Shay Carl (and company)'s trip to Vegas of awesomeness and their Flash Mob of uber awesomeness that made me scream out of sheer excitement and awe.

Danielle Watched Christmas Cartoons

Currently watch A Year Without a Santa Clause. I love Christmas cartoon movies. Yes, I am such a little kid.

You didn't really miss anything from yesterday for school so I won't try to fill you in.

Morning

Randomly followed people around. Copy Lady wasn't there yet so we couldn't get our homework from Tomlin.

French

Work. Talked about The Red Balloon (the movie we saw last class when we had a sub). Then played concentration. According to the other team Chris and I got most of the matches. Josh just liked to click the Eureka button. He was getting yelled at one time when he almost clicked it but it was actually right anyway.

English

Had in our thrones. Most people presented theirs. Nick and I had issues with some names. Josh gave me the wand he made with extras of the stuff he used on his throne. Had to grade everyone who presented. Almost wrote Gomezzio instead of Eric when it was his turn.

Lunch

Food! Chex mix (cheddar =/ still pretty good tho) and Nick's Mix scraps.

Bake Shop

Was on wash. Got very wet. Not fun. Had to stay a little late finishing.

Advisory

Had a field trip to Mr. Cooper's car. We were told that he would kill us if we stole it. Got Rockstars (technically from Mr. Cooper's son, thank you Ben). It tasted better than I thought it would. Picked secret santa names. I got myself the first time. Feel kinda bad that Talked randomly.

Gym

Play badminton. I suck. And I had to play with a tennis player who is also someone who cares about how the game goes. Dan was almost my partner. Then he told me I had to be Chris's. Which I feel bad about. Our team name: Something.

Bus Ride

Talking. I don't even try to explain anymore. People begging for some rockstar.

Today is awesome because of Rockstar and Mr. Cooper's son for giving them to us.
